Hi, I’m Jessy, a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leader, and mum of two.

I’ve spent over two decades supporting children, families, and educators in real-world settings. Along the way, I’ve seen how small shifts in understanding can make a huge difference, not just for children, but for the adults caring for them.

I created Play & Purpose Co. to help parents make sense of their child’s behaviour through the lens of play. If your child is climbing, throwing, moving constantly, or repeating the same actions over and over, it can feel exhausting and confusing. You may worry that you’re responding wrong, missing something, or letting too much slide.

Here’s the reassurance: many of the behaviours parents stress about are not problems — they’re signs of learning in progress.
